Box Office: Shivaay 13th Day Collection, Heading Towards 100 Cr Total Nationwide

13 Days Total Collection of Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay

Ajay Devgn, Erika Kaar and Sayyeshaa Saigal starrer action thriller Shivaay is heading strongly towards the mark of 100 crores on domestic box office. Soon it will be the fifth movie of Ajay as an actor and first as director to enter in this club. Being year’s one of the much hyped and anticipated movies, it has been released with enormous buzz among audience across the country.

Shivaay has impressed everyone with its mind blowing action sequences and visuals. It has also received very positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers. Due to heavy competition with Ae Dil hai Mushkil, it has grossed lesser business on box office but received higher average star ratings.

With terrific response of audience, Shivaay witnessed good occupancy through out its first week and registered the business of 70.41 crores including 28.56 crores of weekend and 41.85 crores of weekdays. Despite having Karan Johar’s much hyped Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ajay’s directorial venture received well on box office.

In the second weekend too, Shivaay remained steady and did the decent business of 17.09 crores including 4.61 crores of Friday, 5.40 crores of Saturday and 7.08 crores of Sunday. Now once again it is in weekdays and recording lesser footfall in theaters than earlier.

On 2nd Monday, Shivaay faced almost 45% of drop than last Friday and minted the amount of 2.50 crores. Then on Tuesday, it reported slight more drop and raked the business of 1.90 crore. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, due to ‘Rs 500 & 1000 Notes Ban’ the movie faced some loss and added the amount of 0.80 crore to its account. With this, its 13 days domestic total has become 92.70 crores.
