Salman Khan’s Sultan 13 Days Total Collection
Aditya Chopra’s latest venture, the sports drama family entertainer Sultan has shattered many records on box office so far and still heading with full power. Superstar Salman Khan starrer this offering has been released with huge hype among audience and took gigantic start. The movie has received very positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers. The super positive craze of audience, attracting more toward theaters and that is the reason Sultan still has impressive hold on box office.
In its opening week, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial Sultan enjoyed 5-days weekend and cashed it thoroughly. In the weekend, it did the phenomenal business of 180.36 crores including 36.54 crores of Wednesday, 37.32 crores of Thursday, 31.67 crores of Friday, 36.62 crores of Saturday and 38.21 crores of Sunday. Within first 5 days, it had surpassed the lifetime total of many previous biggies.
In weekdays, asusual it faced considerable drop than weekend but kept maintained a strong hold over audience. It minted the amount of total 48.80 crores, which includes 15.54 crores of Monday, 12.92 crores of Tuesday, 10.82 crores of Wednesday and 9.52 crores of Thursday. After a week, total collection of Sultan was recorded as 229.16 crores from India plus 117.15 crores from overseas.
Now the movie is running in its second week and again showed an impressive performance in its second weekend. It raked total 34.07 crores, that includes 7.43 crores of Friday, 11.46 crores of Saturday and 15.18 crores of Sunday. The jump in business clearly shows the storm of Sultan on box office. Till its second weekend, Salman Khan starrer reported the total domestic business of 263.23 crores.
Once again, the movie has entered in weekdays and started witnessing lesser response than weekend but still stands strong. Sultan started its 2nd Monday on a decent note and recorded slightly better from evening shows. On the 13th day, it added the amount 4.08 crores to its account. With this, its 13 days domestic total has become 267.31 crores.
