27 Days Total Collection of Salman Khan’s Sultan
Superstar Salman Khan’s recent offering Sultan is heading towards the mark of 300 crores on domestic box office. Being one of the most awaited movies of the year, it has been released with wide screens count and enormous buzz across the globe. As expected it recorded overwhelmed response from fans as well as audience. Also it received very positive reviews from most of the critics, which generated strong word of mouth about it.
Everyone liked the movie and showed big thumbs up for it. Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma have received huge appreciation from all for giving brilliant performances. These are the reasons, Sultan still has enough hold over audience and adding considerable business figures to its account.
In the opening week, it did the business of 229.16 crores with 180.36 crores of weekend and 48.80 crores of weekdays. In the second week, it witnessed usual drop but maintained a decent pace and minted the amount of 48.80 crores with 34.07 crores of weekend and 14.73 crores of weekdays.
In the third week, it had superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali in opposite but managed to rake the business of 15.84 crores including 11.09 crores of weekend and 4.75 crores of weekdays, with little higher drop than usual. After 3 weeks, total collection of Sultan was recorded as 293.80 crores on domestic box office and 154.10 crores from overseas market.
Now it is running in its fourth week and has new Hindi offering Dishoom in opposite. Despite the new release, Sultan remained unaffected and reported the business of 3.06 crores in the weekend with 0.57 crore of Friday, 0.98 crore of Saturday and 1.51 crore of Sunday. After its fourth weekend, total domestic collection of the movie was recorded as 296.86 crores.
Once again, this Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial has entered in weekdays and reported almost 40% of drop than last Friday and added the amount of 0.34 crore to its account. With this, total 27 days collection of Sultan has become 297.20 crores on domestic box office.
