39 Days Total Collection of Salman Khan’s Sultan
After an impressive run on box office, now Salman Khan starrer Sultan has almost come to an end. It enjoyed phenomenal response in the early weeks and as usual with time slowed down. Ali Abbas Zafar’s this sports drama, as expected shattered many existing records and has become the third Indian movie to enter in 300 crores club on domestic box office.
In the first week, Sultan witnessed exceptional occupancy through out and did the commendable business of 229.16 crores across the country. In its second week, despite new release Great Grand Masti it raked the business of 48.80 crores. Then in the third week it had superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited Tamil movie Kabali in opposite, but still managed to collect 15.84 crores.
In the fourth week, this Yash Raj Films’ latest offering reported little higher drop and did the business of 4.43 crores due to new Hindi release Dishoom. Then due to no big release in the fifth week, it remained unaffected and added the considerable amount of 2.12 crores. After five weeks, total domestic collection of Sultan was recorded as 300.35 crores.
Now the movie is running in the sixth weekend and due to new two much awaited movie Rustom & Mohenjo Daro, it is getting very less response. On Friday, it reported more than 40% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 0.08 crore. On the next day, being Saturday it recorded slightly higher and likely to collect 0.11 crore*. With this, total domestic collection of Sultan after 39 days will become 300.54 crores* on domestic box office.
