8 Days Total Collection of Salman Khan’s Sultan
After shattering many records, now Salman Khan’s latest offering Sultan has registered the master record of fastest 200 crores. In just 7 days, it has raked more than 200 crores on Indian box office, whereas the biggies like PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan & Dhoom 3 took 9 days. This shows the power of Salman’s stardom, his fans are very much excited with the phenomenal performance of Sultan.
Being year’s one of the most awaited movies, Sultan has been released with massive hype among audience and received very positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers. The movie is getting overwhelmed response from audience across the globe and flying high on box office.
In its 5-days opening weekend, Sultan reported tremendous occupancy through out and minted the total amount of 180.36 crores across 4350 screens in India, that includes 36.54 crores of Wednesday, 37.32 crores of Thursday, 31.67 crores of Friday, 36.62 crores of Saturday and 38.21 crores of Sunday. Within its first weekend, it has surpassed the lifetime business of many previous biggies.
In overseas, Sultan has been released on 1100 screens and reported outstanding response from there too. Till Sunday, it raked the total business of 91.93 crores from overseas market, that includes 20.50 crores of Wednesday, 18.71 crores of Thursday, 17.66 crores of Friday, 17 crores of Saturday and 18.06 crores of Sunday.
Now the movie is running in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser response than weekend but still has impressive hold over audience. On Monday, with almost 50% of drop than Friday it did the business of 15.54 crores. Then on Tuesday, it faced little more drop and collected 12.92 crores as its 7th day collection. With this, it made its domestic total as 208.82 crores and surpassed the lifetime business of SRK’s HNY (203 crores).
On its 2nd Wednesday, Sultan witnessed slight more drop in its occupancy than previous day and added the amount of 10.82 crores to its account, With this, 8 days total domestic collection of the movie has become 219.64 crores and it has surpassed the lifetime record of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (210.16 crores).
