Box Office: Te3n (Teen) & Do Lafzon Ki Kahani 1st Day Collection

‘Te3n’ & ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ have dominated by Housefull 3 on 1st day!

This week’s new Bollywood releases, suspense thriller Te3n and romantic action Do Lafzon Ki Kahani have started on an average note across the country. Latest offerings from Hollywood Warcraft: The Beginning & The Conjuring 2 have diverted much audience toward themselves.

Also the last week released comedy movie Housefull 3 still has good hold over audience and reported well on its second Friday. These are the reasons, both Hindi movies have not witnessed very good on box office despite almost favorable reviews by critics.

Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer bit hyped Te3n has received positive reviews from all critics as well as moviegoers. Everyone found the movie very thrilling and showed thumbs up for it. The megastar is being praised by all for his brilliant performance, which holds audience till the end.

Te3n has released on 1169 screens across the country, that includes 730 of multiplexes and 439 of single screen cinemas. It has started the day on a low note but witnessed decent growth in its occupancy from evening and ended the day with an average total of 2.61 crores. Of course the major contribution is made by metro cities.

On the other hand, the adjacent release Do Lafzon Ki Kahani has released on 612 screens in India and received mixed reviews from critics. Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal starrer this sweet love story is being liked by audience because of the appreciable performances by both the actors. Still it has reported below average performance on box office and raked the opening business of 1.03 crore.
