4 Days Total Collection of ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ across India
This Thursday released the highly awaited Hollywood offering The Fate Of The Furious has successfully dominated the adjacent Hindi movie Begum Jaan, also it has emerged as the strongest performer of the year among all the English movies released in India so far. As expected it has received amazing response from Indian audience and registered impressive business total in the 4-days extended opening weekend.
Audience found this 8th installment of very much popular American franchise Fast And Furious very thrilling and got impressed with it’s jaw dropping actions. Due to ineffective storyline, the movie got failed to satisfy all the critics but most of them reacted in the favor. With good word of mouth, the latest installment remained strong over the weekend.
Before the release, The Fate Of The Furious had paid previews on Wednesday in India, with which it collected the good amount of 6.29 crores. On Thursday, the movie released with full fledged and reported excellent business of 9.75 crores nett. from around 1700 screens across the country.
On Friday due to Good Friday holiday, F. Gary Gray’s directorial this action thriller recorded fair growth in footfalls and added the impressive business of 11.25 crores to it’s account. On Saturday, it remained strong and managed to collect the amount of 10.75 crores.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, The Fate Of The Furious aka Fast And Furious 8 again showed growth and garnered the business of 12 crores nett. With this, 4-days extended opening weekend total collection of the movie has become 50.04 crores nett (69.50 crores gross). It seems to cross 100 crores gross total by the end of it’s second weekend.
