The very much awaited eighth installment of highly popular American action franchise Fast And Furious is set to release in India on 13th April, a day before than it’s US release. Before that, it also had paid previews in India on Wednesday, in which the movie witnessed good response from audience across the country.

On Wednesday, the paid previews started at 3 pm on around 1600 screens and witnessed almost 30-40% of occupancy across India. Along with metro cities, The Fate Of The Furious has received good response from small cities also and reported the business of around 6.29 crores nett.

As expected, F. Gary Gray’s directorial this action thriller has impressed most of the audience, but recorded mixed reviews from critics. As per critics, the movie is loaded with action but without story. Even though, this Hollywood offering got succeed in attracting Indian audience toward theaters.

Last year was very excellent for English movies at Indian box office, but in this year so far no one has touched that scale. This is why everyone has good expectations with The Fate Of The Furious aka Fast And Furious 8. Let see how it will start the journey on the opening day i.e. Thursday.

From Friday, Vidya Balan’s much anticipated Begum Jaan is also being released opposite to it. But as per trade experts, both the movies have their targeted audience, so there will be no serious competition between these two.
