Box Office: Thodari 3rd Day Collection, Dhanush starrer Witnesses Decent Response in Tamil Nadu

3 Days Total Collection of Dhanush starrer Thodari

Prabhu Solomon’s directorial Tamil romantic-thriller Thodari is heading almost decently at box office. Being much awaited movie of star Dhanush, the movie has been released with good buzz and taken decent start across the Tamil state. It is getting favorable response from audience but has not received much positive reviews from critics, which affected its business.

Fans of Dhanush are showing immense craze towards his recent offering, due to which it reported satisfactory business on box office. As per critics, Dhanush and his co-star Keerthy Suresh have given wonderful performances but still the movie doesn’t fulfill the earlier expectations.

On the opening day, Thodari witnessed decent occupancy in Tamil Nadu and did the business of 4.32 crores. This business figure is good but lesser than Dhanush’s previous release Maari, that was 5.60 crores. Also this is lesser than Vikram’s recently released Iru Mugan, that was 5.25 crores.

On the second day i.e. Friday it recorded almost 40% of drop than Thursday and minted the amount of around 2.63 crores. Then on Saturday, it reported slight more drop and added the amount of 2 crores to its account. With this 3 days total collection of Thodari will become 8.95 crores on Tamil Nadu box office.

The movie is expected to rake near about 11 crores in 4-days opening weekend across Tamil state. Let see how it will perform in weekdays under such not so favorable conditions.
