First Day Collection of xXx Return of Xander Cage

The third installment of the very popular action thriller American franchise xXx has been released in India this Saturday, a week before than its release in U.S. (20th January). The movie stars Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone along with Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, Kris Wu, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette and Samuel L. Jackson, which is the major reason behind such good buzz about it among Indian audience.

As expected this Hollywood offering has taken a good start in India and is being liked by all the viewers. Indian actress Deepika has a pivotal role in the movie, and undoubtedly she has given a power-packed performance. From critics also, xXX Return of Xander Cage has received very favorable reviews, which has generated positive word of mouth about it.

D.J.Caruso’s directorial this latest installment has released with decent number of screens in India on Saturday i.e. 14th of January but had paid previews on Friday. Reportedly the movie has made good amount of 1.75 crore from its previews in selected cities. While the main stream Hindi release OK Jaanu started its journey with an average business of 4.08 crores on Friday. This shows the stardom of Deepika and the craze of this franchise among Indian audience.

On its opening day, xXX Return of Xander Cage witnessed almost 50% of occupancy across the country and recorded the business of 6.25 crores, which is quite good. The movie is positively expected to take fair jump on Sunday, as audience are showing good interest in it.
