Box Office: xXx Return of Xander Cage 4th Day Collection, Performs Better than New Hindi Offerings

The recent Hollywood offering, the much awaited xXx Return of Xander Cage has been released in India this Saturday, a week before than its U.S. release. It is the third installment of very popular american action thriller franchise xXx. But the major reason behind such good hype of the movie in India is, it features the very famous Indian actress Deepika Padukone in pivotal role.

On Friday, this D.J.Caruso’s directorial had paid previews in evening, by which it made the amount of 1.75 crore. While the new Hindi offering OK Jaanu, did the opening business of 4.08 crores in the whole day. This shows the excitement of fans and the craze of Indian audience towards Hollywood movies.

On its opening day i.e. Saturday, xXx Return of Xander Cage witnessed the excellent occupancy of 50% across the country and raked the business of 6.25 crores, which can be considered as 8 crores including the earning of its paid previews. Then on Sunday, where all other offerings remained flat similar due to #IndvEng cricket match, the Hollywood’s one scored 7.25 crores on the board.

After the 2-days opening weekend, total collection of xXx Return of Xander Cage was recorded as 15.25 crores from Indian screens. Now it is running in weekdays and as usual getting lesser audience in theaters than weekend. On Monday, it faced around 40% of drop than previous day and added the amount of 4.25 crores to its account. With more decline, the movie minted 3.25 crores on Tuesday and made its 4 days net total as 22.75 crores.
