Brahmotsavam 1st Day Collection, Emerges as 2nd Biggest Opener for Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’ takes Box Office by Storm!

Year’s one of the biggest and much awaited Telugu movies, superstar Mahesh Babu starrer family drama movie ‘Brahmotsavam’ has taken box office by storm as expected earlier. It has received mixed reviews from critics as well as audience. But due to initial buzz, it has started terrifically across the globe. As per the report, Brahmotsavam has raked higher business than Mahesh Babu’s previous movie Srimanthudu at US box office from its premiere shows.

Everyone had very high expectations with this movie but unfortunately it has got failure to entertain audience much and as a result getting mixed response. It was highly expected to become blockbuster like Srimanthudu but the reaction of audience doesn’t showed that. Fans of Mahesh are still showing huge craze and creating good buzz on social media about Brahmotsavam but it is not expected to maintain its pace till this weekend.

On the opening day, the movie has reported tremendous response with excellent occupancy across the Telugu states and minted the amount of 12.60 cr from there. With this opening amount, Brahmotsavam has become the second biggest opener movie of Mahesh Babu’s career so far after Srimanthudu, that was around 13 cr from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.

It has also emerged as the second highest opening day grosser of the year so far after Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh, that was 20.50 cr. Let see how much it will collect more to its weekend total on Saturday and Sunday with mixed response of audience.
