Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam Gets Mixed Response!

Srikanth Addala’s directorial drama movie ‘Brahmotsavam’ has released this Friday with massive hype among audience. Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer has taken superb start on box office but unfortunately not getting much positive reviews critics  as well as moviegoers. Brahmotsavam is one of the biggest and much awaited Telugu movies of the year, but has got failure to entertain audience as per their expectations. The lead star has performed well as always but that is not enough to run for long.

On the opening day, Brahmotsavam has reported excellent occupancy and tremendous response due to massive initial buzz. It has become the second biggest opener movie of Mahesh Babu’s career so far after the blockbuster Srimanthudu. The movie has also emerged as second biggest opener of the year so far after Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh. It has minted the amount of 12.60 cr on Friday across 900 screens of Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. In overseas, it is doing quite well by the support of Telugu audience there.

Due to mixed response of audience, on second day despite being Saturday the movie faced heavy drop in its business graph and added the amount of 3.15 cr to it account. After 2 days, total collection of Brahmotsavam is recorded as 15.75 cr from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. Being holiday, Sunday is expected to result in slightly higher business but afterwards it will witness more drops because of unfavorable audience response.
