‘Brothers’ 3rd Day Collection: Highest Opening Weekend Grosser Movie of Akshay’s Career

The latest action drama movie from Bollywood, Brothers has been released this Friday at box office on 14th of August. The movie is performing very nicely from the first day and collecting excellent figures. Audience loved it and creating positive buzz which encourages more audience to watch the movie. After the premieres, some critics didn’t find it watchable and rated it with low stars but even after these negative words, Brothers is getting overwhelmed response from fans and movie goers across the globe.

It is an official remake of Hollywood movie Warrior and its story is almost similar to that, which may be the reason behind low star ratings of critics. But its not affecting the business of the movie. Brothers has successfully passed it first weekend at box office with excellent figures. Received complete advantage of holiday weekend and done the business of total 36.63 crores in first 2 days.

On its first day, it was recorded the overall occupancy of 70% in India and minted the amount of 15.20 crores which was higher than its expected figures. On the second day, being the holiday it was showed a good jump in its business and ended the day with 21.43 crores. On Saturday, Brothers was reported higher occupancy from the morning shows than Friday and experienced good increment from evening shows.

Today was the third day of Brothers at box office and being Sunday it has reported the higher collection that Friday by lower than Saturday. With overall 70% of occupancy across the country it has done the business of around 15.45 crores and made its first weekend domestic total to 52.08 crores. Now from tomorrow weekdays are going to be started and asusual drops are expected.
