‘Brothers’ 4th Day Collection: Minted 52.08 Cr in its 1st Weekend & now loosing pace

This week released latest Hindi movie Brothers has successfully passed it first weekend and become the second highest opening weekend grosser movie of year 2015 so far. Brothers has registered the record of highest opening day & opening weekend collection of Akshay Kumar’s career. The movie is performing very well at box office, as expected before the release it is getting overwhelmed response from audience across the country as well as in overseas.

As previous movies of Akshay, this one was also having huge pre-release hype among audience. Movie goers and fans were very excited to watch it, after watching the movie everyone find it up to the mark and that is the reason behind such excellent business of it in opening weekend. Audience loved the performance of Akshay & Jackie Shroff, they both acted superbly in the movie. The second lead Sidharth Malhotra has also played his character very well and also receiving appreciation for that.

In its first weekend, Brothers has done the total business of 52.08 crores at Indian box office that includes 15.20 crores of Friday, 21.43 crores of Saturday and 15.45 crores of Sunday. On Saturday, movie showed a high jump of more than 6 crores due to Independence Day and on Sunday it was recorded less occupancy than Saturday. Now Brothers has entered in weekdays and asusual started facing drops in its business. On Monday it has recorded the overall occupancy of 50% and minted near about 6.23 crores from Indian screens. Now the 4 days domestic total of Brothers has become 58.31 crores.
