‘Brothers’ 8th Day Collection: Enters in 2nd Weekend; Growth Expected in Business

Last week released action drama movie Brothers has completed its one week journey at box office with total collection of 72.60 crores from Indian screens only. It has become the second highest opening week grosser movie of year 2015. The movie is directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. It is featuring the superstar Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Jackie Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandez & Shefali Shah in lead roles. The presence of Akshay in the movie, is one of the main reasons behind such wonderful response of audience towards it.

Everyone liked the movie and find it very touchy movie with a perfect balance of action & emotions. It is an official remake of Hollywood movie Warrior, and as its title it is the story of two estranged brothers. Some critics didn’t found it up to the mark and reviewed it with low stars. But audience supported the movie and helped it to achieve good as week total.

Till now Brothers has proved itself the best performer movie of Akshay’s career. In its first week, it has done the business of total 72.60 crores that includes 52.08 crores of weekend and rest 20.52 crores of weekdays. It has registered the record of 2015’s second highest opener, opening weekend grosser and opening week grosser movie so far. Now the movie has entered in its second week and expected to show growth in its business this weekend. On its second Friday, it has recorded slightly lower occupancy than yesterday and minted 4.05 crore* as its 8th day collection.
