Citylights is the latest Hindi film that has released last Friday on 30th May 2014. The film features good actors like Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha in the lead characters. After running 3 days nicely on the screens the latest movie of Hansal Mehta’s that is Citylights comes to its 4th day at the big screen. Rajkumar Rao and Hansal Mehta who won National Award for best actor and director respectively for their film- Shahid, are once again set to win accolades and acclaim with their current movie “Citylights”. The film is running good in theatres how so ever it cannot be said that the film is a super cool or big hit but yes it is making decent performance and by now, the film has done a fair trade on the box office. Today being the 4th day of release for the film, it opened up with fall in the occupancy due to the commencement of weekdays.

On its 4th day release on box office, Citylights has shown us an average performance with normal business figures and stands at 64 Lacs (Estimated). Citylights is a good film with nice script and strong characters, but due to lack of star power or entertainment factor, some of the audience seems to be drifted towards the previous releases like Heropanti, Kochadaiiyaan and other. It shows that this film is getting good competition from pre released film even till now and this competition may prove quite bad for its health in the form of lower collections on Bollywood big screen.
