Dhadak 9th Day Collection: Goes Past 58 Crores Total by its 2nd Saturday in India

The latest production of Karan Johar starring newcomers Dhadak is now in the second week and has highly anticipated American action spy thriller Mission: Impossible – Fallout in the opposite. Due to this biggie, the official Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat has witnessed a dent but still maintaining a solid pace at the box office.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, this romantic drama stars Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khatter and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Both the actors have added good charm to the movie and got succeed to impress half of the audience.

Being backed by the big production house and due to a huge popularity of the original, Dhadak opened on an impressive note and did the business of 33.67 crores in the opening weekend with 8.71 crores on Friday, 11.04 crores on Saturday, and 13.92 crores on Saturday from 2235 screens nationwide.

Then on weekdays as well, it managed to remain steady and registered the business of 5.52 crores on Monday, 4.76 crores on Tuesday, 4.06 crores on Wednesday, and 3.55 crores on Thursday. After a week, the total collection of Fox Star Studios’ presentation was recorded at 51.56 crores.

Now Dhadak is running in the second week and once again showing a healthy growth over the weekend. On 2nd Friday, it minted the amount of 2.61 crores after a drop of 26.48% than the previous day. Then on 2nd Saturday, with a jump of 54.02%, it collected 4.02 crores and raised its 9 days total collection to 58.19 crores nett.
