Dilwale 12th Day Collection, Grosses 130 Cr as Total on Indian Screens

Last week released much awaited movie of the year ‘Dilwale’ was showed tremendous performance in the first week but now it is facing heavy competition due to the adjacent release historical love story Bajirao Mastani. On overseas box office, this Shahrukh Khan and Kajol Devgn starrer action romantic movie is leading with good margin, but in India Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic Bajirao Mastani is about to takeover Dilwale in terms of business. Being Shahrukh Khan starrer, Dilwale had good pre-release hype among audience and also started so strongly at box office. It has received almost positive reviews from Bollywood critics as well as moviegoers but now audience has tilted towards the magnum opus Bajirao Mastani which can be seen easily with their business graphs.

In its first week Rohit Shetty’s directorial Dilwale was raked massive business amount of 102.65 crores that comprises 65.09 crores of weekend and 37.56 crores of weekdays. Now the movie has entered in the second week and has witnessed average audience response in its second weekend. It was minted total 21.23 crores in the weekend that includes 8.11 crores of Friday, 6 crores of Saturday and 7.12 crores of Sunday. As per report, it did the business of 110.83 crores from overseas screens till its second Sunday.

Now once again, Dilwale has to face low audience response due to normal working days. On Monday, it witnessed more than 50% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 2.70 crores as its 11th day collection. On the next day, it recorded slightly higher response and raked the business of 3.12 crores on Indian screens. Till the end of its 12th day, total collection of Dilwale is calculated as 129.70 crores.
