Drishyam, the Hindi remake of 2013’s Malayalam movie with the same title is leading at box office this week. It has minted the highest collections among all running movies in this weekend. Drishyam is getting full advantage of failure of new Bollywood release Bangistan. Also the word of mouth for the movie is resulting in favor of it. Ajay Devgn starrer this thriller movie is receiving huge appreciation from audience. Before the release, there was not much hype about the movie but after hitting screens it started gaining hype among audience.
Almost all critics rated it with minimum 3.5 stars and reviewed it as the best thriller movie of 2015. Its interesting story and gripping suspense makes it a worth watch. Everyone praising the performance of Ajay as a common but intelligent man. Tabu has also played her character of strict cop very well. Rest entire star cast have justified with their characters.
Drishyam was completed its first week with total of 46.28 crores at Indian box office. Now it is running in the second week and already crossed its second weekend with 11.84 crores. The amount is higher than the sum of collections made by Bajrangi Bhaijaan & Bangistan. After the end of the weekend that total collection of it was 58.12 crores.
Now weekdays have started and movie has again started facing considerable drops in its business but still on the top position. On Monday it made the amount of 1.60 crores as its 11th day collection. Today is its 12th day of release at box office and it has started the day with almost similar average occupancy. As per the report it has collected around 1.65 crores on second Tuesday.
