Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga ELKDTAL 1st Day Box Office Collection, Takes a Slow Start!

The major Hindi release of this Friday, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has taken a slow start at the box office due to lack of promotions. Despite good star power & positive feedback, the film got failed to attract enough audience toward theaters. While the previous offerings remained unaffected and showed a better performance.

Starring Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Juhi Chawla & Rajkummar Rao in lead roles, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has got succeed to hit the target right with its unconventional love story and received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience across India.

On the opening day, Shelly Chopra Dhar’s directorial took a dull start with an occupancy of only 10% in the morning. Over the evening & night shows, it witnessed a limited growth in multiplexes and managed to register the opening business of 3.30 crores from around 1500 screens nationwide.

Due to positive word of mouth, Fox Star Studios’ presentation is expected to take a significant growth in footfalls over the weekend. It won’t be surprising if the film shows a healthy jump which is required actually for a reputed opening total at the domestic box office.

Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the banner Vinod Chopra Films, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is the first film of Anil Kapoor & his daughter Sonam Kapoor together. It also marks the comeback of veteran actress Juhi Chawla on screen after three years.
