Ek Villain 18th Day Box Office Response
Director Mohit Suri’s “Ek Villain” is continuing its blazing run at the box office. This Siddharth Malhotra-Shraddha Kapoor Riteish Deshmukh starrer hit movie entered the 100 Crore club already last week. . Earlier It touched the second highest opening day collection of the year at Rs. 16.72 Crores (second only to Rs. 17.8 Crores for Salman Khan’s Jai Ho), beating Sajid Khan’s Humshakals (Rs 12.5). Interestingly, Ek Villain was screened across 2,539 screens: Jai Ho, in comparison, was screened at almost double the number of screens, and collected Rs. 60 Crores in its first weekend. The total box office collection of Ek Villain stood at Rs. 77.2 Crores a week after the film hit theatres showing the difference between both the top movies. However from last Friday Ek Villain faced serious competition from the newly released Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania which is running very well on box office. Anyhow it was the 18th working day for the film and still it has the high occupancy and public response with it.
Ek Villain 3rd Weekend Total Box Office Collection
Ek Villain in total 18 days journey on box office has done a fantastic job in entertaining all the audience and most of the viewers have found it total up to the mark movie. Today being a weekday and 18th day of release, the film still faced good numbers of viewers and collected 81 Lacs as its third Monday Box Office Collection. The film has already beaten much of the top Bollywood films of this year like 2 States and other and now the journey is still on. In the coming two weeks, the film will earn decent amount at the domestic box office. But it remains to be seen whether the film will beat Holiday and Jai Ho total to take the top grosser spot.
