It has been total three weeks now that the Bollywood movie Ek Villain entered the box office race. The Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor starrer romantic cum action movie was released last month on 27th June 2014. Riteish Deshmukh for the very first time was seen in a totally negative role in this film which amazed the audience too much. This unique villain love story attracted most of the viewers and won their hearts completely in 3 weeks. First two weeks were awesome in regards f other audience occupancy and collections for Ek Villain as there was no competition for the film except Bobby Jasoos and Lekar Hum Deewana Dil; which both emerged as a failure on box office. The film acclaimed many remarks in its account in first two weeks and became fourth top grosser of this year and crossed 100 Crore Club also within 12 days. But it was only the after the release of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania in its third week, that Ek Villain started losing its viewers ad income.

Ek Villain has done a great performance till now and today being the third Thursday for the film or frankly 21st day of release, it still has managed to run decently and earn total income of around 35 Lacs by the end of today. Straight fact is that Ek Villain has gone much down from its first two weeks but still the third week has also not been worse. In total 3 weeks journey on the big screen, this fantastic movie received accolades for its unique story and totally entertaining performances by the star cast. Even today the viewers were excited to watch this film and this shows the success of Ek Villain. Now the film has entered in its fourth week and due to some new releases Hate Story 2 and last week released Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania; Ek Villain may find more downfalls in its business in the coming week and weekend.
