Maneesh Sharma’s directorial last thriller drama Bollywood biggie ‘Fan’ has got failed to performed up to the expectations. Shahrukh Khan starrer this movie has been released with massive pre-release hype among fans as well as audience and also received very positive reviews from most of the critics. Despite all this, it has slowed down so early on box office and has almost stopped far before the mark of 100 cr on domestic box office. Yash Raj Films’ heavily promoted Fan had started on a high note but due to lack of regular ingredients like romance, music etc., it landed to the ground so early.

In its opening week, Fan did the business of 71.50 cr with overall good note, that includes 52.35 cr of weekend and 19.15 cr of weekdays. In the second week, it reported big dip in its business and minted the amount of only 11.45 cr that includes 7.75 cr of weekend and 3.70 cr of weekdays. After the 2 weeks, total domestic collection of Fan was recorded as 82.95 cr. From its overseas screens, it raked the total business of 64.96 cr.

Now the movie is running in its third week and witnessed very less in the weekend. It received below average response and collected the amount of 0.67 cr* including 0.21 cr* of Friday, 0.19 cr* of Saturday and 0.27 cr* of Sunday. In weekdays, as expected it is getting more lesser and just crawling on box office very slowly. On Monday it minted the amount of only 0.14 cr*. With more drop, it added the amount of 0.13 cr* on Tuesday. After 19 days, total domestic collection of Fan is recorded as 83.89 cr*.
