SRK’s Fan Registered Biggest Opening of 2016 So Far!

With such heavy promotions, obviously it was not difficult for Shahrukh Khan starrer latest thriller movie Fan to open up with an excellent amount. The movie has released this Friday on around 4600 screens across the globe, that includes 3500 screens of India and rest 1100 of overseas. It has received positive reviews from most of critics as well as moviegoers, but still some are disappointed with the direction. If you are Bollywood lover, you can not skip Shahrukh’s movie, that is the reason audience showing immense excitement for his latest offering Fan. But after watching the movie, their reviews do not reflect that much excitement.

No doubt Shahrukh has given brilliant performance as both the characters and is being praised by everyone for that. Fan is getting complete benefit of the presence of superstar in it, otherwise it could be another disaster from YRF. Fans of SRK are showing big thumbs up for the movie and creating huge buzz about it on social media, but that won’t work for long. Being a non-masala movie with no music, Fan is not getting much response on single screens. The major contribution in the business is being made from metro cities.

On its opening day, despite holiday Fan opened up with 45% of occupancy across India. From evening shows it received decent growth and minted the total opening collection of 19.20 cr. With this, Fan has registered the highest first day collection of 2016 so far. As per report, it has reported the business of 17.93 cr from its overseas screens includes Thursday & Friday. On Saturday, the movie witnessed slight dip in its response and raked the business of 15.40 cr as its second day collection on Indian screens. After 2 days, total domestic collection of Fan is recorded as 34.60 cr.
