Fan 5th Day Collection: Crosses 64 Cr as Domestic Total in 5 Days

SRK’s Fan Disappoints with its Box Office Performance

The statement cannot be denied that, Shahrukh Khan’s much hyped latest offering Fan is not getting much response at box office. The movie had massive pre-release hype among audience, also it received very positive reviews from most of the critics. Everyone praising the acting of SRK as both the characters in the movie. Despite all these, it is not showing any impressive performance on box office. The supporters are giving many justifications on this, but the actual reason is the absence of regular ingredients like music, romance etc in it. This time YRF & Shahrukh tried for new but the experiment seems as failed so far.

With 19.20 cr, Fan registered the highest opening collection of 2016 so far. It has also emerged as highest opening weekend grosser with total business of 52.35 cr, that includes 19.20 cr of Friday, 15.40 cr of Saturday and 17.75 cr of Sunday. The figures are higher than previous ones but far lesser than the level of King Khan. From the overseas market, it reported the total business of 40.01 cr till weekend.

Now the movie has entered in weekdays and unfortunately witnessing very low response of audience. On Monday it faced more than 60% of drop in its business and minted the amount of 6.05 cr as its 4th day collection across 3500 screens of India. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it reported almost similar response and added slightly lesser amount of 5.75 cr as its 5th day collection. After 5 days, total domestic collection of Fan is recorded as 64.15 cr.
