Shahrukh Khan’s FAN Settles Down so Early

This is really very disappointing for the fans of Shahrukh Khan that year’s one of the much awaited movies of their favorite star, Fan is not getting much response at box office as compare to the earlier expectations. Due to its initial buzz, it started on an excellent note on Friday but settled down so early despite positive reviews. Almost all the critics have reviewed it with favorable words, also everyone praising the performance of SRK in both the characters he played in Fan. Still it has not reported any impressive performance so far despite holidays.

In its first weekend, Fan reported the highest opening weekend collection of year so far with the amount of 52.35 cr, that includes 19.20 cr of Friday, 15.40 cr of Saturday and 17.75 cr of Sunday. The figure is higher than previous ones but far lesser than the benchmark, Shahrukh has set with his movies so far. From the overseas market, it raked the business of 40.01 cr till weekend.

Now Fan is running in weekdays and witnessing very less than expected response. On Monday it did the business of 6.05 cr with more than 60% of drop. Then on Tuesday despite holiday it minted the amount of 5.75 cr as its 5th day collection. On Wednesday too, it faced more drop and added the amount of 4.20 cr to its account. After its 6th day, total domestic collection of Maneesh Sharma’s directorial Fan is recorded as 68.35 cr.
