‘Faraar’ (Punjabi) 1st Weekend Total Collection: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Day Business Report

This Friday released Punjabi thriller movie Faraar has completed its 1st weekend at box office with average business. The movie is directed by Baljit Singh Deo and produced by Sippy Grewal & Nitin Talwar under the banner of Sippy Grewal Production and is being distributed by Saga Music. It features Desi Rockstar of Punjab Gippy Grewal and Grand Masti fame Kainaat Arora in lead roles. Faraar was released on 28th August with good excitement of audience and fans.

As Gippy is one of the most popular singer cum actors of Punjab, so his movie was having good pre-release hype among audience. Fans of Gippy were looking very much excited from the time when its official trailer was released out. Faraar is integrated with very nice music, which has created huge buzz about the movie. As expected it has received good response from audience as well as critics through out the weekend but in terms of business its performance is just an average.

On its first day, Faraar was recorded the overall occupancy of 50% in India and minted 1.05 crore*. On Saturday being weekend and also the holiday on accounts of Raksha Bandhan, it showed slight growth in its business and collected 1.40 crore* as its second day collection. On Sunday it faced little drop and done the business of 1.25 crore* as its 3rd day collection.
