Main Aur Charles, Guddu Ki Gun & Titli have Received favorable Reviews from Critics but Started Slow
This week multiple Bollywood movies have been released at box office, but no one has any good hype among audience. The list includes more than five or more Hindi movies & but out of these only three are associated with known names- Guddu Ki Gun, Main Aur Charles & Titli. All three movies have received favorable reviews from most of the critics but recorded very less occupancy in theaters.
Talking about Guddu Ki Gun, this is an adult comedy movie directed by the duo Shantanu Ray Chhibber – Sheershak Anana & produced under the banner of Emenox Media Pvt. Ltd. It features Kunal Khemu in the lead role, playing as a salesman who has a golden penis. Along with Kunal; Sumeet Vyas, Aparna Sharma & Payel Sarkar are playing supporting characters.
On the first day, it has not started on a good note but being a comedy movie it is getting favorable response from viewers. Also it has received favorable reviews & appreciation from critics for the performance & direction. Guddu Ki Gun has reported the overall occupancy of only 5-10% & minted the amount of near about 0.50 crore.
Moving to next Main Aur Charles, it is a thriller-drama movie directed by Prawaal Raman and jointly produced by Raju Chadha, Amir Kapoor & Vikram Khakhar under the banner of Cynozure Networkz. In terms of star cast, this movie gets higher marks, as it features Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadda, Adil Hussain & Tisca Chopra in lead roles.
Critics as well as viewers have reviewed it with almost positive comments but as per critics only Randeep has showed some strength in the movie, rest all are on off -note. Main Aur Charles has also reported less occupancy of 10% in theaters & as per report, its opening business is 0.55 crore.
The third one, Titli is a drama movie directed by Kanu behl and produced by Aditya Chopra & Dibakar Banerjee under the banner of Dibakar Banerjee Productions Pvt. Ltd. & Yash Raj Films. It features Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Shashank Arora, Lalit Behl & Shivani Raghuvanshi in the lead roles.
Titli have also received positive reviews from critics but it recorded least occupancy among these three movies. As per critics, in the movie director captures the volatility of a society where violence lies uneasily just below the surface. Undoubtedly, it has nice concept but still not getting considerable response from audience & reported the business of only 0.20 crore on its first day.
