Nil Battey Sannata gets Better Response than Laal Rang & Santa Banta Pvt. Ltd.

This week three new small budget Hindi movies have released on box office, because no big movie could has been scheduled to release just a week after Shahrukh Khan’s Fan, which is actually not getting much response. The new releases includes Nil Battey Sannata, Laal Rang & Santa Banta Pvt. Ltd.

Nil Battey Sannata is a drama movie, directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and produced by Anand L. Rai and Ajay Rai – Alan McAlex under the banners Colour Yellow and JAR Pictures. It features Swara Bhaskar in a lead role, along with Ria Shukla, Ratna Shah Pathak & Pankaj Tripathi in supporting roles. The movie is getting most positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. The actress has given brilliant performance as always and is being praised for that.

Laal Rang is thriller movie, directed by Syed Ahmed Afzal and produced by Nitika Thakur under the banner Krian Pictures. It features Randeep Hooda, Piaa Bajpai and Akshay Oberoi in lead roles, along with Rajniesh Duggall, Meenakshi Dixit, Shreya Narayan etc in supporting roles. The actor Randeep Hooda is being praised by everyone for his performance in the movie.

Santa Banta Pvt. Ltd. is a comedy drama movie, directed by Akashdeep Sabir and produced by Sheeba Akashdeep under the banner Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. It features Boman Irani and Vir Das in lead roles, along with Neha Dhupia, Lisa Haydon, Ram Kapoor & Johnny Lever in supporting roles. The movie is not getting favorable reviews from critics as well as audience and is the weakest one among all three.

All three have released on a limited number of screens across the country. Being comedy drama and also due to little star power, Santa Banta Pvt. Ltd. reported higher occupancy in morning but received negative response. Audience second choice Laal Rang has witnessed average. The third one Nil Battey Sannata is the strongest movie as per critics and is getting very positive response from audience too. All the movies have not raked more than 0.50 cr on their opening day across India.
