Himesh Reshammiya’s Teraa Surroor starts on a low note!
Teraa Surroor, the latest installment of 2007’s Aap Kaa Surroor has released this week with decent hype among audience. Due to its soulful music, the film had created good buzz on social media and was expected to start on a decent note at box office. But unfortunately, on the first day it has not witnessed much response from audience. Fans of Himesh are showing good craze and but still it has taken a slow start. Till midnight, the film was getting positive pre-release reviews but after the release, those reactions have turned to mixed.
On its opening day, Teraa Surroor has received low occupancy of around 10-15% across the country. It has reported mixed reviews from critics as well as audience, which has settled down all the hype it had before the release. That is the reason, it hasn’t recorded any considerable growth in its occupancy from evening shows. As per critics, this film is strictly for the fans of Himesh. It seems like a hint from him that, “I won’t give up acting, doesn’t matter audience like it or not!”.
With such below average response, Teraa Surroor has raked the business of 1.79 crore on its first day from India. We have witnessed number of previous films have not grossed well at box office, despite of positive reviews. So there is no high hopes with this averagely rated romantic thriller. As per reports, the existing ones Neerja and Jai Gangaajal are hampering its performance.
