Fukrey Returns 17th Day Box Office Collection, Crosses 75.50 Crores Total by 3rd Weekend

From the third week, successfully running Fukrey Returns has witnessed a considerable break in it’s pace due to newly released biggie Tiger Zinda Hai which has taken box office by storm. After completing two uninterrupted weeks on an excellent note, now this comedy drama is managing with decent response nationwide.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, Fukrey Returns is the sequel to 2013’s much applauded Fukrey and was released with good recall value. As expected, it has received positive reviews from critics as well as audience and gained positive word of mouth.

Due to favorable waves over box office, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s recent directorial remained strong throughout the opening week and did the business of 50.55 crores that included 32.20 crores of weekend and 18.35 crores from 1500 screens across the country.

Then in the second week as well, Fukrey Returns showed good performance despite number of new offerings. It raked the business of total 23.26 crores with 15.56 crores of weekend and 7.70 crores of weekdays. After 2 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 73.81 crores.

Now it is running in third week and passed the third weekend on a decent note as the major audience has been diverted toward Tiger Zinda Hai now. On 3rd Friday, Fukrey Returns faced around 75% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 0.40 crore.

On the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, due to weekend the movie took little growth and bagged the amount of 0.62 crore. On Sunday, Fukrey Returns showed more growth and collected the amount of 0.79 crore. With this, it’s 17 days total collection has become 75.62 crores at domestic box office.
