Being one of the most awaited & hyped movie Gabbar Is Back went smooth on the mark maintained by Akshay Kumar during his previous blockbuster films like Baby & Holiday; though not that much high. This film was released on 1 May 2015 and was on the great hypes before getting released on box office to make as good collection as expected. The movie opened with almost 70% occupancy of the theaters and was expected to end the drought in theaters as there has been no big release so long this year in few months.

Total 10th day i.e. second Sunday collection of the movie is quite good as compared to past few days earnings and stands at 5 crores. Now total second weekend collection of film is around 12 crores and total 10 days collection has become 72.01 crores. Movie’s performance in the later days showed the real fact that it could touch the level of Baby or other big hits considering the business figures. Though latest released movies like Piku & KKLH are affected the business a lot.

As we reported earlier it has seen god increase in morning shows on Sunday and also throughout the day all shows went nicely occupied. Especially at single screens which are always supposed to do good business. With the new release at box office, movie lost few shows numbers everywhere but that had made no big harm by now and not expected in coming days as word of mouth is going decent for Akshay starrer movie.

The second Sunday collection has come in the range of crores which still will not be bad collection but it’s not rock steady business also as seen continuous drop around or more than 20% on each day from Monday till now. Now it is to be seen how much jump the film can register. Right now it’s looking around to run easily 1-2 more weeks on box office.
