Ghayal Once Again Total Collection in 5 Weeks at Worldwide Box Office

Sunny Deol starrer Completes 5 weeks Journey at Box Office

Despite of mixed reviews from critics, superstar Sunny Deol’s self directorial film Ghayal Once Again completes its 5 weeks journey at box office. The film showed decent performance in its first two weeks and an average afterward. It is the sequel of 1990’s Ghayal, which was received huge success at box office. As its prequel, the latest installment was also expected to take box office by storm, but it hasn’t come out in the same way. Ghayal Once Again received mixed reviews from critics as well as moviegoers, which settled down all its initial buzz so early. But still with the support of fans, film has little hold over screens and successfully made its existence in theaters till its fifth week.

In its journey so far, Ghayal Once Again has recovered all its production cost and dragged itself to a safe side. The film had raked the business of approximately 50.77 crores* in its first four weeks, that includes 34.44 crores* of first week, 12.23 crores* of second week, 3.46 crores* of third week and 0.64 crore* of fourth week. In its fifth weekend, it was added around 5 lacs to its account and made its one month total domestic collection as 50.82 crores*.

Due to new releases like Neerja and Jai Gangaajal, Ghayal Once Again has faced huge loss at box office. Both the films are getting decent but far better response than it. In weekdays, Sunny Deol starrer is estimated to add approx. 1.5 lac to its account, that makes its 5 weeks total collection as 50.83 crores* at domestic box office. As per the report, the film has done the business of around 8 crores* on its limited screens in overseas.
