Gold and Satyameva Jayate 15th Day Box Office Collection, Continue to Hold Well

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner Excel Entertainment, Gold is continuing to hold well at the box office in its second week despite having the new release Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi along with the adjacent one Satyameva Jayate in parallel.

Directed by Reema Kagti, the sports drama Gold starring superstar Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh & Sunny Kaushal who have received much appreciation from their work. For its solid content, the movie has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience.

On an excellent note, it had registered the business of 89.30 crores in the prolonged first week with 71.30 crores on the weekend and 18 crores on weekdays. Then on the second weekend, it remained almost good and collected 9.70 crores with 1.85 crores on 2nd Friday, 3.10 crores on 2nd Saturday & 4.75 crores on 2nd Sunday.

Now on weekdays, Gold has witnessed a usual drop in footfalls and did the business of 1.45 crores on 2nd Monday. With a further dip, it minted the amount of 1.25 crores on 2nd Tuesday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Wednesday, AA Films’ presentation managed to collect 1 crore and raised 15 days total collection to 102.70 crores at the domestic box office.

On the other hand, John Abraham & Manoj Bajpayee starrer action thriller Satyameva Jayate has also got succeed to entertain the audience. In the extended 9-days first week, it collected 75.09 crores, that included 56.91 crores on the weekend and 18.18 crores on weekdays.

In the second weekend, it did the business of 8.34 crores with 1.82 crores on 2nd Friday, 2.20 crores on 2nd Saturday, and 4.32 crores on 2nd Sunday. Now on weekdays, after a usual drop, it bagged 1.49 crores on 2nd Monday and 1.46 crores on 2nd Tuesday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Wednesday, SMJ minted 1.31 crores and raised 15 days total to 87.69 crores.
