Golmaal Again 12th Day Collection, Ajay Devgn Starrer Rakes Over 175 Crores Domestically

Diwali release Golmaal Again has already emerged as highest grossing movie of the year in Bollywood so far and now sprinting to enter in 200 crore club domestically. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this offering has not only become the biggest hit of franchise Golmaal but also the best performer of superstar Ajay Devgn’s career.

Released with high initial buzz, Golmaal Again opened to a great note and registered biggest opening of the year excluding Baahubali 2. Due to positive reviews from critics as well as audience it gained strong word of mouth and remained strong throughout the opening week despite having Secret Superstar in opposite.

In the first week, Ajay Devgn & Parineeti Chopra starrer raked the business of total 136.07 crores that included 87.60 crores of weekend and 48.47 crores of weekdays from 3500 screens across the country. Now the movie is running in it’s second week and still has good hold over the audience.

In the second weekend, Golmaal Again once again showed excellent growth and did the business of 31.44 crores with 7.25 crores on Friday, 10.61 crores on Saturday and 13.58 crores on Sunday. After 10 days of release, total collection of this action comedy was recorded as 167.51 crores at domestic box office.

In weekdays, Reliance Entertainment’s presentation has witnessed usual drop but still heading smoothly. On 2nd Monday it faced around 40% of drop than Friday and minted 4.33 crores. While with further drop, Golmaal Again bagged 4.02 crores on 2nd Tuesday and raised it’s 12 days total collection to 175.86 crores.
