Golmaal Again 17th Day Collection, Ajay Devgn Starrer Surpasses YJHD Lifetime Total

The highly buzzed fourth installment of franchise Golmaal, Golmaal Again is still not ready to slow down and heading smoothly toward the mark of 200 crore. After completing the 2 weeks of release on an excellent, this action comedy is showing good performance in the third week as well despite having several new offerings in opposite.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Golmaal Again was released with huge buzz and got an outstanding opening as expected. Due to positive word of mouth, it remained strong throughout the first week and raked the business of 136.07 crores that included 87.60 crores of weekend and 48.47 crores of weekdays from 3500 screens nationwide.

Then in the second week as well, superstar Ajay Devgn starrer remained strong and did the business of 46.85 crores with 31.44 crores of weekend and 15.41 crores of weekdays. After the 2 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 182.92 crores.

Now Golmaal Again is running in the third week and has several new offerings like Ittefaq, Ribbon & Thor Ragnarok in opposite. Despite the clutter, it remained almost good and minted the amount of 2.04 crores on 3rd Friday with 37.8% of drop than previous day.

On the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, it showed excellent growth of 80.88% and added the amount of 3.69 crores to it’s account. Then on Sunday, this action comedy witnessed more growth and garnered the business of 4.85 crores.

With this total collection of Golmaal Again after 17 days of release, has become 193.50 crores at domestic box office. By it’s 16th day, it has already surpassed the lifetime total of 2013’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (188.57 crores) and emerged as 14th highest grosser of all time in Hindi cinema.
