Golmaal Again 7th Day Collection, Earns 136 Crores in 1 Week at Domestic Box Office

Last Friday released superstar Ajay Devgn starrer Golmaal Again has come closer to 4 weeks back released Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 within a week and all set to surpass the lifetime total of superstar Shahrukh Khan’s Raees by it’s 2nd Friday.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Golmaal Again has entertained everyone and received positive reviews from most of the critics as well as audience. As a result, it gained strong word of mouth and remained strong throughout the opening week at domestic as well as overseas box office.

Due to high initial buzz, this fourth installment of the franchise Golmaal witnessed tremendous response on the opening day and registered year’s highest opening in Bollywood with the amount 30.14 crores. Now it is also the second highest opener of Ajay’s career so far.

Despite having superstar Aamir Khan’s highly appreciated production venture Secret Superstar in opposite, the movie remained super strong over the weekend and minted the amount of 28.37 crores on Saturday and 29.09 crores on Sunday.

After the opening weekend, total collection of Golmaal Again was recorded as 87.60 crores from around 3500 screens across the country. Then in weekdays, asusual it reported lower footfalls than before but still showed excellent performance at box office.

On Monday, Ajay-Rohit’s latest collaboration faced 46.8% of drop than Friday and raked the business of 16.04 crores. With further drops, it bagged the amount of 13.25 crores on Tuesday and 10.05 crores on Wednesday.

On the next day i.e. Thursday, Golmaal Again garnered the business of 9.13 crores and raised it’s one week total collection to 136.07 crores (174.45 crores gross) at domestic box office. It is positively expected to rake over 160 crores by the second weekend domestically.

From overseas market as well, Golmaal Again is getting excellent response and done the business of around 28.72 crores gross from there. With this, the total worldwide collection of the movie after one week has become 203.17 crores gross.
