This Friday released two new movies Great Grand Masti and Ice Age Collision Course complete their opening weekend on an average note. Both the movies are struggling on box office due to last week released Salman Khan’s giant Sultan, which has complete hold over audience across the country.

The latest installment of adult comedy franchise Masti has been forcefully released one week earlier than its scheduled date. Because its censor copy took back door exit on internet and melted down all the hype it had among audience. So its makers decided to prepone it by a week and borrowed some screens from Sultan.

After the release due to very weak content, Great Grand Masti received negative reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers, audience also reacted with mixed comments. On the opening day the movie reported only 10% of overall occupancy in India and did the business of 2.50 crores.

On Saturday, despite being weekend Great Grand Masti hasn’t showed any growth in its business and minted the same amount of 2.50 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, it witnessed decent growth and added the amount of 3.25 crores to its account. With this, its opening weekend total has become 8.25 crores.

The adjacent release, Hollywood’s Ice Age Collision Course has received almost favorable reviews from critics and positive response from audience. On the opening day, it minted the amount of 1.90 crore on Indian box office. On Saturday, it witnessed decent growth and raked the business of 3 crores.

On Sunday, being holiday this fifth installment of very popular animated franchise Ice Age has reported more growth and collected the amount of 3.60 crores. With this, its weekend total has become 8.50 crores on Indian box office.
