Set to hit the screens on 24th October 2014, the most popular and awaited Bollywood romantic cum action movie Happy New Year released on the pre described date on box office. Starring so many good names in the lead roles, the movie was one of the most anticipated movies of this year 2014. There were so many expectations from Happy New Year from audiences as well as the critics as all of them have given good word of mouth for the film before its release and critics review were also too positive for the film like all are in favor of the film. But when the film hit the theatres on Friday, it seemed that audience did found that much unique factor in the film as it was being predicted in it. Still the movie is good piece of entertainment and all characters are must watch as per the audience reviews till the third day of its release so overall Sunday performance of film is awesome.

The film on Sunday, i.e. today started with higher occupancy than yesterday; the viewers were seen outside the theatres in big numbers resulting in the huge collection on third day of around 32.29 Crores. Happy New Year movie made overall a fantastic business in all the multiplexes and cinema halls especially in the metropolitan cities till the end of first weekend. Earlier it was predicted that Bang Bang will not be affecting Happy New Year much but now it seems that Bollywood lovers may go for other options if they do not find Happy New Year that much standing on their expectations in the coming days.
