The third installment of much appreciated franchise Hate Story was released last week on 4th of December with a screen count of 2690 worldwide. The movie was showed commendable performance in its opening week and grossed very good total as compare to its budget. Hate Story 3 has made up with only 13.20 crores production plus promotion cost, which it had recovered in the first 2 days of release. It has also registered the 13th highest opening of the year so far and now being entered in 2015’s top 15 highest grosser Hindi movies. This is really an appreciable achievement for such small budgeted movie.

Hate Story 3 has received favorable reviews from most of the Bollywood critics as well as cinegoers. Despite of having not so effective story line, it is being liked by everyone in theaters. Audience find it very gripping and strong in terms of performances by starcasts and ofcourse the superb music. As per most of the viewers, this one is the best among all three parts of Hate Story, also it has more star power.

In its opening week, Hate Story 3 was did the business of total 42.20 crores on Indian screens only, that is comprised of 26.82 crores of weekend and rest 15.38 crores of weekdays. Now the movie has entered in its second week and heading smoothly as there is no better option has released this week from Bollywood. On its second Friday, it witnessed low occupancy but still managed to collect 2.25 crores as its 8th day collection. On the next day i.e. Saturday being partial public holiday, it has resulted in almost similar as previous day. Hate Story 3 has also minted the amount of 2.25 crores as its 9th day collection.
