Last Friday released the fourth installment of popular erotic thriller franchise Hate Story, Hate Story 4 has completed its first week on a decent note at the box office. After an average opening weekend, it managed to remain steady on weekdays and as a result, registered a decent total after a week.
Starring the stunning Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahim Vivan Bhatena, and Ihana Dhillon in lead roles, Hate Story 4 had received mixed reviews from the critics. But still, due to a good recall value of the franchise, the movie got succeed to divert the audience toward itself.
Because of clutter at the box office, director Vishal Pandya’s latest venture opened on a lower note than Hate Story 3 & Hate Story 2. By witnessing limited growth over the weekend, it did the business of 12.57 crores that included 3.76 crores of Friday, 4.19 crores of Saturday and 4.66 crores of Sunday.
Then on weekdays, as usual, Hate Story 4 faced an abrupt drop in footfalls but still managed to remain steady. With a considerable dip than last Friday, it minted the amount of 2.09 crores on Monday, 2.10 crores on Tuesday and 1.85 crore on Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. Thursday, T-Series Films’ presentation reported further decrement and garnered the business of 1.43 crore. With this, the total collection of Hate Story 4 after a week, has become 20.04 crores at the domestic box office.
