Three Hindi movies- Hate Story 4, Dil Juunglee, and 3 Storeys have been released at the box office this Friday with a decent buzz among the audience. As expected, due to a good franchise’ recall value, the fourth installment of Hate Story has taken a lead over the rest.
Directed by Vishal Pandya, Hate Story 4 is an erotic thriller majorly relies on the leading actress Urvashi Rautela, who has worked in few movies so far but her stardom is quite high. Although the movie has received mixed reviews from the critics, but most of the viewers have liked it.
On the opening day, HS4 opened on a decent note in several parts of the country but lower than 2015’s Hate Story 3 (9.72 crores) and even 2014’s Hate Story 2 (5.26 crores). With almost similar response on single as well as multi-screens, the movie has registered the opening of 3.76 crores at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem starrer romantic comedy Dil Juunglee has also received mixed reviews from the critics. Due to clutter, it struggled much to divert audience toward itself and at the end, managed to collect only 0.35 crore on the first day from limited screens.
While the last but not least, Excel Entertainment’s thriller drama 3 Storeys has fortunately received mostly positive reviews from the critics but as expected witnessed very low footfalls in theaters. As a result, it has also done the business of only 0.35 crore on Friday. Due to positive words, it could take some growth over the weekend.
