Hichki & Sajjan Singh Rangroot 10th Day Collection, Rani Mukerji starrer Remains Steady in 2nd Weekend

After a solid opening week, Hindi drama movie Hichki has passed its second weekend as well on a steady note despite having the biggie Baaghi 2 in the opposite. With its impressive story-line and a brilliant performance by the leading actress Rani Mukerji, it received positive reviews from everyone and gained good word of mouth.

Being a non-masala offering, Hichki took a decent start but picked up well afterward and did the business of 26.10 crores in the opening week, that included 15.35 crores of the weekend and 10.75 crores of weekdays from the limited 961 screens across the country.

Now the movie is running in its second week and showed a good performance in the second weekend despite the newly released Baaghi 2. It minted the amount of 2.40 crores on 2nd Friday and 2.60 crores on 2nd Saturday with a maintained momentum.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Sunday, Hichki recorded further growth in footfalls due to a public holiday and bagged the amount of 3.40 crores. With this, its 10 days total collection has become 34.50 crores at the domestic box office.

On the other hand, the adjacent Punjabi release Sajjan Singh Ranrgoot has also received very positive reviews from everyone and passed the opening week on a solid note despite a slower start than expected.

Diljit Dosanjh starrer raked the business of 8.60 crores nett in the opening week, that included 5.15 crores of the weekend and 3.45 crores of weekdays. With a positive word of mouth, this war drama managed to remain steady in the second weekend.

Sajjan Singh Rangroot minted the amount of 0.70 crore on 2nd Friday and 0.85 crore on 2nd Saturday. With further growth on 2nd Sunday, it collected 1 crore and raised its 10 days total domestic collection to 11.15 crores nett.
