Holiday 2nd Week Performance at Box Office

Holiday dominated Fugly and still ruling on hearts worldwide!

After seeing the wonderful performance of recent debut Bollywood movie Heropanti now the space on the big screen has been snatched by the latest Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Holiday: A Soldier Never off Duty which has enjoyed the best collection in the 2nd weekend in comparison of any movie released in 2014. The occupancy on 12th day for action thriller is around 30 to 35 % which is best in all the three days of 2nd weekend. Holiday has started the 2nd Tuesday on a positive note. On Sunday, the movie saw fabulous growth everywhere right from single screens to high end multiplexes. The growth was simply phenomenal. The movie has dropped only around 50 % or even less from its first weekend business which is outstanding for a film is today’s times. It has huge chance of recording the highest 2nd week collections for a film in the year 2014 ahead of 2 States, Jai Ho and Queen. The occupancy in early shows of 2nd Tuesday for this movie is better than previous weekdays.

Holiday 2nd Tuesday Total Box Office Collection

It looks like A.R. Murugadoss will get his 2nd successive 100 Crores grossing film after Ghajini. He will be the 2nd director after blockbuster director Rohit Shetty to achieve this feat. That’s a rare record we must say. Today the film made a good attempt of returning back in the race and showed nice performance by collecting 2.96 Crores by the end of day. In its second week, Holiday is running in around 1900+ screens which are quite big a number. The second weekend box office collection of Holiday is way ahead of 2 States and Jai Ho and the movie is likely to break many more records of box office.
