After having a superb 1st week now the Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer romantic cum action flick Holiday has also completed its 2nd week on box office. In its second week, Holiday is running in around 1900+ screens which are quite big a number for a Bollywood film. The second week box office collection of Holiday is way ahead of 2 States and Jai Ho and the movie is likely to collect remarkable business figures by the end of its lifetime on box office. The movie saw fabulous growth everywhere right from single screens to high end multiplexes during the second weekend and also the second wee total performance have been recorded to be much better than many top 2014 grosser. The growth was simply phenomenal. The movie has dropped only around 50 % or even less from its first weekend business which is outstanding for a film in today’s times. However the total occupancy on 14th day for this action romantic thriller is around 25 to 30 % but still its business is mind blowing and way more than current releases.

The two best things which helped Holiday in collecting massive collection in 2nd weekend are positive mouth words from audience and good reviews from critics for movie’s script and story. Movie is a story of soldier Akshay who saves Mumbai from terrorist. Movie has performed outstanding in single screens throughout all 10 days with a great run in centers like Mumbai, Delhi, NCR, UP and Punjab.
