Holiday 3rd Week Box Office Report

Holiday had a good 3rd Wednesday at the box office as the film collected decent amount on its 20th day of release. After decent performance yesterday, now the film is on its 3rd week end today and even today it showed up very good. The movie is trended quite well in its third week too. Holiday should cross Jai Ho (111 Cr) by the end of fourth week or fifth week depending upon the number of shows it has in the subsequent weeks and the way Ek Villain and Humshakals perform in the next few weeks too. It is the 26th movie to reach 100 Crores in India and will beat Jai Ho to be highest grossing movie of 2014 so far. It has beaten 2 states and is 2nd highest grosser of 2014 till now. After two successful weeks third one has not been such profitable in account of other movies released. It has been affected due to loss of screens to Humshakals in week 3. Holiday had the highest 2nd week of 2014 ahead of Jai Ho & 2 States.

Holiday also has 11th Highest Second week of all time in its name and now the film has entered into its fourth week after today. Talking about today collection, the film performed well enough and managed to made a trade of around 95 Lacs. In overseas it was good in Pakistan and UAE but was weak elsewhere. Holiday has dropped considerably in its third weekend primarily due to the release of Humshakals. The film has now crossed the 100 Crores and it is the third film of Akshay Kumar to reach this milestone. The movie is running in approximately 840 + screens in the third week.
