‘Housefull 3’ 21 Days Total Collection Report

Superstar Akshay Kumar’s recent offering Housefull 3 completes its 3 weeks journey at box office. Being the third installment of India’s very successful comedy franchise Housefull, this laughter riot has been released with huge buzz among audience and received terrific response in the opening week. From the second week, it started facing fall in its business graph but still has achieved good height at box office.

Housefull 3 has not received much positive reviews from critics but audience liked it and showed thumbs up to it. As a result it has become the second highest grossing movie of the year so far after Airlift. With this, Akshay has become year’s most successful actor with two blockbuster movies.

In the opening week, it raked the total business of 80.10 crores on domestic box office, that includes 53.31 crores of weekend and 26.79 crores of weekdays. In the second week, despite new releases it maintained almost good and minted the amount of 23.10 crores with 70% of drop than the first week, that includes 15.20 crores of weekend and 7.90 crores of weekdays.

In the third weekend, Housefull 3 struggled much due to new buzzed release Udta Punjab and did the business of 3.02 crores, that includes 0.65 crore of Friday, 0.92 crore of Saturday and 1.45 crore of Sunday. After 17 days, total collection of the movie was recorded as 106.22 crores on domestic box office.

In weekdays, as expected it witnessed more drop and but still added considerable amount to its account. On Monday, it faced almost 35% of drop than last Friday and did the business of 0.43 crore*. With slight more drop, it did the business of 0.39 crore* on Tuesday and 0.34 crore* on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it started the day with lesser occupancy and estimated to rake the business of 0.29 crore*. With this, total 3 weeks collection of Housefull 3 will become 107.67 crores* on domestic box office.
