‘Housefull 3’ Now Heading Slowly on Box Office!

After an excellent opening week, Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 3 faced gradual falls in its occupancy but successfully managed to keep moving its business graph. Within 3 weeks, it became the second highest grossing movie of the year so far after Airlift and third highest grossing comedy movie of all time. Critics are not in complete favor but audience liked the movie and showed great excitement towards it.

In the opening week, Housefull 3 did the business of 80.10 crores, that includes 53.31 crores of weekend and 26.79 crores of weekdays. In the second week, it witnessed 70% of fall than the first week and raked the business of 23.10 crores, that includes 15.20 crores of weekend and 7.90 crores of weekdays.

Then in the third week, it faced heavy competition due to Udta Punjab, which had good pre-release buzz because of censor board controversy. But still it managed to raise its business total by decent amount and minted 4.47 crores*, that includes 3.02 crores of weekend and 1.45 crore* of weekdays.

After 3 weeks, total collection of Housefull 3 was recorded as 107.67 crores* on domestic box office. Now it has entered in the fourth weekend and heading slowly on box office. On Friday, it raked the business of 0.18 crore* as its 22nd day collection. On Saturday, being weekend it received slight rise and added the amount of 0.25 crore* to its account. With this its 23 days total collection has become 108.10 crores* nationwide.
