Housefull 3 8th Day Collection – Surpasses Domestic Total of SRK’s Fan

‘Housefull 3’ holds well in its second weekend too!

Directors Farhad-Sajid’s latest offering the comedy drama Housefull 3 has already completed its one week journey on an outstanding note. It has been released last week with huge buzz among audience as well as fans of Akshay Kumar. As expected it reported amazing response through out its opening week despite mixed reviews by critics.

So far, Housefull 3 has registered number of records to its account. In its first weekend, it raked the business of 53.31 crores across India and emerged as highest opening weekend grosser movie of the year by breaking the record of Shahrukh Khan starrer Fan. In weekdays too, it maintained a good pace and made its week total as 80.10 crores. It is the second highest opening week collection of the year raked by any movie after Akshay’s Airlift so far.

Not only in India but from overseas market too, Housefull 3 has reported quite impressive response on 670 screens. Till Sunday, the movie had reported 26.77 crores from there. As a week total, it did the business of 34.08 crores and made its worldwide total as 114.18 crores excluding distribution shares.

Now the movie has entered in its second weekend and still has much hold over audience despite new Hindi & English releases on Indian box office. On Friday, it witnessed a considerable decline in its business graph and added the amount of 3.50 crores to its account.

After the 8th day of release, total domestic collection of Housefull 3 is recorded as 83.60 crores. With this, it has inched very near to the lifetime total collection of SRK’s Fan, which was (84.10 crores) and all set to acquire 2nd position among top highest grosser movies of the year.
